Karl Kani symbolizes the „American Dream“ as he has truly gone from rags to riches. It all started in 1989 with a 16-year old little boy in Brooklyn New York who decided to make his dream come true turning his passion into making clothes. He always asked himself „Can I do it?“. And „Yes he can“ as he soon became the biggest inspiration in hip-hop streetwear culture and set a big achievement for black designers.
